Improvements on Rough Cut 04/03/14

One of the criticisms that we recieved was that the horror element didn't come across as we filmed it during daytime, therefore the natural lighting didn't make it scary at all. So we will film at nightime, especially in the very opening scene when Mr Lynch is walking through the alleyway so it will look more like the picture above.



We also need to add one of these openings to the beginning of our film before we go into any scenes, whether it be 20th century fox, universal or monument pictures. However, this does take up quite a bit of time so we will need to be careful on how we're going to fit it in along with our time line.

The 'Dexter' opening theme is also a very good representation of how we want our opening scene to look like (the YouTube clip won't let me embed the link due to disabling of request). It has good conetations of blood, such as when he kills the bug and when he's cutting up fruit, and his face stays blurred out until the very end (however we're going to keep his face blurred throughout).
