·         Capture the audiences interest by showing some action/something dramatic > may be a chase scene/flashback/fight out (shoot out)

·         Introduce key/main characters, maybe by using close ups

·         Introduce pre plot

·         Clearly state the genre on film

·         A key event may occur

·         The film title

·         Panning of landscape

·         Make sure not too much is crammed in so it doesn’t appear as a short film
